Data collection on this website
Who is responsible for collecting data?
Data on this website is processed by the website operator. You can find the operator’s contact details in the “Controller” section of this privacy policy.
How do we collect your data?
When you visit the website, the web server automatically collects technical data transmitted by your browser. Details are provided in the “Server log files” section.
We receive other data when you provide it yourself, for example through our contact form, by email or by telephone. The contact form sends your details and any attached files to our web server, which emails the enquiry to us. Further details are provided in the section “Contact form and enquiries by email or telephone”.
What do we use your data for?
Technical data is processed to provide the website securely and without errors. We use data from enquiries solely to deal with your request.
What rights do you have?
In particular, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

3. General and mandatory information
Data protection
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection requirements and this privacy policy.
Please note that transmitting data over the internet, for example when communicating by email, may involve security vulnerabilities. Complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.
Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
printmedia experts GmbH
Traunstraße 1
68199 Mannheim
Represented by the Managing Director:
Sinan Adali
Telephone: +49 621 181956 0
Email:

The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.
Retention period
Unless this privacy policy specifies a more precise retention period, we retain your personal data until the purpose for processing it no longer applies. If you submit a valid erasure request or withdraw consent, your data will be deleted unless there are legally permissible grounds for retaining it. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Legal bases for data processing
Depending on the circumstances, we process personal data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), to perform a contract or take steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), to comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR), or for our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The legal basis applicable in each case is stated in the following sections.
Recipients of personal data
We disclose personal data only where necessary to perform a contract, where legally required, where there is a legitimate interest in disclosure, or where another legal basis permits it. When using processors, data is disclosed on the basis of a data processing agreement.
Withdrawal of consent
You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
Right to object under Article 21 GDPR
Where data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then stop processing the data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Where personal data is processed for direct marketing, you have the right to object to that processing at any time. The data will then no longer be used for direct marketing.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
If the GDPR is infringed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement. In Baden-Württemberg, this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
Access, rectification and erasure
Within the scope of statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of processing. Where applicable, you also have the right to have this data corrected or erased.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data where one of the statutory conditions is met. This applies in particular:
- while we verify the accuracy of data we hold about you, if you contest its accuracy;
- where processing is unlawful and you request restriction instead of erasure;
- where we no longer need the data but you require it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or
- where you have objected under Article 21(1) GDPR and the balancing of interests has not yet been completed.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract in a commonly used, machine-readable format, or, where technically feasible, to have it transferred to another controller.
SSL or TLS encryption
This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
4. Data collection on this website
Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits automatically. This includes, in particular:
- Browser type and version;
- Operating system used;
- Referrer URL;
- Hostname of the accessing computer;
- Time of the server request; and
- IP address.
This data is not combined with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to display the website correctly and provide it securely. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for this purpose, unless a statutory retention obligation prevents this.
Contact form and enquiries by email or telephone
The contact form allows you to submit your name, email address, company, telephone number, details of your print project and, optionally, up to two files. When you submit the form, our web server processes your details and forwards them to us by email. Uploaded files are processed temporarily on the server for sending and transmitted as email attachments; uploads are not stored permanently on the website.
We use Google’s Gmail service to send form submissions by email. The information in your enquiry, including attached files, is processed through this email service. Required fields are needed to identify and respond to your enquiry; company details, telephone number and files are optional.
To protect the form, we use a technically necessary session cookie with a random identifier. Form entries are not stored in the cookie or in the browser’s local storage. If sending fails, your text remains temporarily available in the server session for another attempt; after 15 minutes, it is discarded the next time the form is opened. After successful sending, it is removed from the form session. To limit repeated enquiries, the IP address is used in pseudonymised form within a 15-minute window.
If you contact us by email or telephone, we store and process your enquiry, including any personal data it contains, to deal with your request. We do not disclose this data without a legal basis.
Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract. In all other cases, it is based on our legitimate interest in handling your enquiry effectively (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) where requested.
We retain the data you provide until you request its deletion, withdraw consent or the purpose of storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions, particularly retention periods, remain unaffected.
CookieFirst
We use CookieFirst, a service provided by Digital Data Solutions B.V., Plantage Middenlaan 42a, 1018 DH Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to manage your cookie preferences. This involves processing your consent choices and technical information about your browser, device, time and the page visited. You can change your preferences at any time in the cookie settings.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to analyse website statistics. This may involve processing page views, interactions, device information, approximate location data and pseudonymous identifiers. Google Analytics is loaded only with your consent. Further information: Google privacy policy.
